Welcome to St Paul’s Catholic School. You will find us to be a warm inclusive community where we are inspired and motivated by the words of the prophet Micah and the words of our school prayer; “Act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with your God.”
We are one of 23 schools who all belong to the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust. We are bound together by the Trust mission to “prepare all our young people for a wholesome, fulfilling and active life in the future making a valuable contribution to society.” We are committed to the education of the whole person and look to foster each student’s gifts and talents whatever they may be.
This website contains both essential information which I hope will prove useful to you as one of our parents or someone wanting to know more about us and our school. The website should also give you a snap shot into our busy, vibrant community which is a wonderful place to work and study.

What a wonderful Sixth Form Open Evening. It is always a privilege to meet parents and students and talk about how our students achieve great outcomes, because we support them every step of their post 16 journey. A family, who were visiting St. Paul`s for the first time, said that they felt an “overwhelming sense of community and inclusivity”. Thank you to all who came and made the evening a huge success. 💜🧡

Our Year 9 GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition students have been learning all about food safety and microorganisms this week! To bring their studies to life, they created their very own plasticine bacteria models, a fun and memorable way to understand how bacteria grow, spread, and affect the food we eat. Great work, everyone! 💜🧡🧫

Congratulations to our competition winners who successfully managed to correctly identify the Saint associated with the subject or department area - each Saint has been carefully selected so that the actions or views they demonstrated in their life, correspond to a specific area within school 💜🧡

We love seeing our schools come together! Here’s a wonderful photo of the joint choir from St Paul’s and English Martyrs’ performing at the Nostra Aetate celebration, a beautiful event highlighting Catholic involvement in interreligious dialogue at St Chad’s Cathedral.
The choir, led by Liam Leonard from English Martyrs’, gave a truly uplifting performance. They sang pieces ranging from Dona Nobis Pacem to the theme tune of Pocahontas, concluding with the Magnificat at the Vespers service. Bishop Patrick thanked the students for giving up their afternoon on the last Sunday of half term holiday. They sang to two Cardinals, a number of Bishops and representatives from the Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Buddhist faiths. Both schools were honoured to be invited to take part by Bishop Patrick 💜🧡🎶
