Welcome to St Paul’s Catholic School. You will find us to be a warm inclusive community where we are inspired and motivated by the words of the prophet Micah and the words of our school prayer; “Act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with your God.”
We are one of 23 schools who all belong to the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust. We are bound together by the Trust mission to “prepare all our young people for a wholesome, fulfilling and active life in the future making a valuable contribution to society.” We are committed to the education of the whole person and look to foster each student’s gifts and talents whatever they may be.
This website contains both essential information which I hope will prove useful to you as one of our parents or someone wanting to know more about us and our school. The website should also give you a snap shot into our busy, vibrant community which is a wonderful place to work and study.

We were delighted to welcome award-winning author Tamsin Winter, to St. Paul’s. Tamsin spoke to our Year 7 and Year 8 students about her journey as a writer and the inspiration behind her books. Students were captivated throughout her engaging talks, leaving the theatre buzzing with excitement. Many students were thrilled to have the opportunity to meet Tamsin in person and get their copies of her books signed — a truly memorable experience that has inspired a love of reading and writing across both year groups. 📙📖💜🧡

We’re excited to welcome our very first international students from Mexico 🇲🇽 and Italy 🇮🇹! Their main goal is to improve their English and immerse themselves in British culture, and we’re thrilled they’ve chosen to do that with us. 🙌🏻
We can’t wait to see them settle in, make new friends, and enjoy being part of our Sixth Form and school community. 💜🧡🌍✨

A lovely `anonymous` student, donated a £50 amazon gift card to the school, to spend on library books. Such a lovely kind gift, thank you so much! 💜🧡

Our year 11 students are extraordinary young people. They have experienced so much disruption as a result of covid and yet this has not stopped them from being a brilliant year group all the way from Year 7 until now. Their GCSE results are testament to their amazing attitude, self-motivation and determination to do well. They have been a pleasure to teach, and we are incredibly proud of what they have achieved in their results. We are delighted that so many are continuing with us into the Sixth form.
Highlights in this year`s results include some fantastic improvements on our great 2024 results. 78% of students achieved at least a grade 4 in English and Maths and 79% achieved at least 5 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above. The life chances of these young people have been greatly improved by these grades giving them an amazing advantage in competing for university, higher level apprenticeships and work.
My thanks go to the young people, their families and our staff for getting our Year 11`s to where they are today - Mrs. Conaghan, Principal.
